This may be a dumb question but I left my PHD in my other pants. I can operate the windows from the driver's seat but not when in the passenger seat or back seats. I know there is a button for locking them for child safety purposes but after pushing the button the still won't work pother than I can control them from the driver's seat. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
LOL believe me I know what you're sayin. It's taken me almost 6 years to get this far and I know I still don't have a clue about so many things Prime. I haven't a clue why your windows wouldn't do what you want them to. One thing I pretty sure of though, is when you figure it out you'll wonder how much the PhD was really worth.
Well, today I went out to the car to try the suggestions mentioned here and the windows worked fine. I did nothing. It was magic or a least that is what I am going with.
bewitched edit: was just looking through the maintenance log book (maintenance and warranty) and the Owners Manual and ran across the (window initialization) thing as I was looking up the maintenance minder reset thing. Window Initialization (when functioning abnormally) pg 301 and Power Window options pg 737 may help demystify what happened, so if it happens again, you might be ready this time.
