Waiting three days now for Amayama to "review my order" with no other communication. This is my first order with them. Is this the new Covid normal or something?
Looks like Japan had a somewhat recent COVID spike around August 25. You can check the status in your account. I haven't ordered from them since COVID started, but once they collect your items and it ships it's by plane and will be quick. Hang in there....
I've had delays because they close for all the Japanese holidays, but they politely let me know when that happens. As far as COVID delays, they have been back to normal delivery timeframes at least six months.
Elapsed time from inquiry to parts in hand turned out to be two weeks. It took seven days to confirm the order, went quickly after that.
