I previously had a 2013 Gen 3 Prius 2 that I bought used and for the last three years I've owned a 2018 Gen 4 Prius 2. After 3 years and 24K mi I've sold it and am picking up my new Tesla Model Y soon. Used car prices are insane! What I bought it for: What I sold it for 3YR and 24K mi later:
Damn, I suppose if you do the math on gas cost and auto insurance, broke even for 3 years of driving! as long as no major repairs, NICE! Hope you can do that with the Tesla, good luck!
I hope so too! Funny story but the Model Y went up $5K since I ordered it in Sept, so I've got a head start
Nice. Sticking to the Prius until I have a garage with a plug, and until hopefully the promised mass-market Tesla becomes available. Kinda a 5 year plan.
