Hi guys, My 2015 prius vibrates from front driver side when it runs on fuel but when it's on EV it's fine. Any idea why does it happens ? Thanks
I don't understand. If you can help that's great. If you can't than don't need to be sarcastic. I searched, but wasn't able to find anything
There is an engine mount in the area under the inverter, behind the radiator. Perhaps the engine mount has deteriorated, allowing more than normal vibration to transmit to the frame. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Apologies. At the time I posted, you had made about six identical posts in a row of this same question. The moderator then very quickly made the duplicates go away, which kind of removed the original context.
Sometimes the forum software is slow to respond and people click the Post button multiple times, or something else goes wrong. It's not necessarily that you were spamming on purpose.
Lol i meant 2015. It's a good strong car with 325,000km on it. Just the vibration at lower speed is the only problem i face.
Over 200,000 miles, how is the engine idle? If it idles rough, the EGR valve could be stuck open slightly. That could cause rough running and create more vibration. Your EGR cooler, EGR pipe, and intake manifold is overdue for a cleaning as well. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Engine is good. I hear some sound on the driver's front wheel as if something is hitting . But this won't happen at higher speed.
