Hi everyone, I am new Prius owner and have question. My Prius 2010 3 gen has now 225000 km (about 140 000 miles). I read a lot of posts and don't realy know... change water pump or not. There is original newer replaced. There is no leak, Temperature is ok i think - about 90 C.
The water pump is very easy to replace so I would do it. Also there is no way to see the coolant temp, you need an app like Hybrid Assistant to view the coolant temp. http://www.RedBullet.net https://ProjectLithium.com/?ref=mG0GE http://www.Pulstar.com http://www.PlugOutPower.com Use code 7373 http://www.hybridpit.com Use code azusa http://CatStrap.net Use code azusa
Replace water pump before you have to. Think about doing thermostat at same time, while you’re in there.
Ok. I'll do it. is there any preferred brand of thermostat? About water pump i know that Aisin will be the best.
I got the Aisin water pump and the OEM Toyota thermostat. Too important a part to try to save money on a cheap brand, in my opinion. But it's your car.
Thermostat number 1603137010 will be ok if there are different versions for Prius 2010 ?? Wysłane z mojego SM-A515F przy użyciu Tapatalka
