Just bought a used 2013 Prius v that has radar cruise control. The radar antenna sits behind the front Toyota emblem, which has a clear plastic cover. My cover is fogged up. I'm afraid that besides not looking good, its going to interfere with the radar performance. I used WD-40 for a temporary fix, but I don't think that will last very long. Anybody have any luck clearing this up?
I'd imagine a headlight restoration kit would also work on the plastic covering the Toyota symbol. That's about ten bucks and some elbow grease.
I was worried that the typical headlight restoration kit would be too strong for this cover, but it wasn't. Used one by Mothers and it cleaned up pretty well.
