I was clearing out old papers and found the window sticker for my 2008 Prius Touring purchased in June 2008. The sticker price was $30,703 The sticker price for my 2021 Prius Prime XLE purchased in October 2020 was $31,679. I am amazed how much more car I got for the same price considering 12 years of inflation.
was that loaded? my 08 model II was 21k iirc otoh, my 12 plug in was 30k, making prime look excellent
Well some say Toyota is using old tech ahaha. But yes it is amazing none the less. Paid ~30k for both my 2015prius and 2021prime houses/homes on the other hand.....lol
The base price of the 2008 Prius was $23,770 and the Touring Package 6 was $5,925. When I bought the car I was on a waitlist and you got whatever the dealer received.
Talking about prices, I'd check what your Prius is worth today. Mine is worth quite a bit more than when I bought it, it's appreciated in value by 20% from MSRP. These supply chain / chip issues are really hitting hard.
