aftermarket radio used

    Looking for feedback on different aftermarket radios people have used? I replaced mine and not happy with it. Any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance.

    What was the reason you wanted a new radio? Original was Broken? Features?

    Both. Was having issues and also wanted to add carplay

    There is an entire section on this. Head units galore! Look in the electronics thread. You will find so many types, plenty of installation instructions, etc. I almost had my eyes on one. I just haven't seen a clean plug and play that works with the steering wheel buttons. Programing seems to be the norm.

    Thanks! I'll take a look. I used this and it was plug and play for the controls. Bought the whole solution from Crutchfield. Their "ready harness", head unit and this.

    PAC RP4.2-TY11 Wiring Interface
    Connect a new car stereo and retain factory JBL system, steering wheel controls, and aux input in select 2003-up Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles

    I’ll take that to mean there was nothing wrong with the original radio.
