Honda Civic GX has been around for awhile. It was not meant to compete with the Prius. It was intended as a fleet vehicle where they already have natural gas available and it's cheap or people can buy a Phil and fill their own civic at home. I did look into this Civic GX before I decided to buy my Prius. For the price, the Prius is a better buy and better car.

I was checking out the Civic GX (as well as the hybrid Civic) but unfortunately I'd have to go out of my way to find a place to fuel up. Civics are pretty small cars too~the Prius is a much roomier car...although I'll admit that I am jealous of the CNG Civics in CA with their pretty silver HOV lane stickers whereas we got stuck with the bright yellow ones. <_<
