Hi all, I recently replaced the passenger side mirror cover and indicator, and it seemed to go successfully, but now when the car starts, the mirror folds 180 degrees instead of stopping where it used to. Has anyone fixed that before? I have tried looking online but it seems there are a few different implementations of this stopping mechanism in different cars. I have tried folding it back and forth to see if it would click into place but that doesn't seem to happen. It does click but the problem happens next time it unfolds. I removed the cover and indicator again but I couldn't see anything obvious, do I need to get into the chamber that has the wires to see it?
