Changed the oil and installed the Cat Defender today.

That was 1.5 - 2 hours of knuckle-busting and constant repositioning of the car to get clearance, but it is now installed.

Using a combination of the curb and my ramps made it so I could just use my rivet tool under there.

The Cat Defender requires you to drill 11 holes for installation (and the security screws are kinda garbage). If you have a lift available, definitely use it. 1079228683.jpeg IMG_20211009_173251061_HDR.jpeg

    Great minds think alike. :)
Did the same thing yesterday but with local resources.
After two years of changing oil with Toyota 0W-20 at 6600 miles now I'm trying ENEOS Sustina 0W-20 at 5000 miles.

Also installed a sort of cat shield. Didn't take pictures but this is the product and they have some pictures.
Not so fancy than yours but is cheap, easy to install and overall better than nothing. :D

Swapped out PIAA halogen fogs to Toyota OEM LED fogs off of 2020 4Runner. Nice, clear and wide output.

I can't stand those super bright LED foglights on the new Tacoma/4 Runners, especially because some of them are pretty high, making the glare hit you in the eyes or in the rearview mirror.

Some of the foglights appear brighter than the headlights above them, because the headlights have proper cutoffs to limit glare.

Lucky our Prius sits much lower than the SUV’s so they are much more functional.
Besides, these OEM LED fog complements the OEM LED headlights very well (y)

I'm going to hope that most PriusChatters know to adjust the aim when installing or replacing foglights. Instructions are in the repair manual.

My friend Dawn always wish she could afford a restored 1967 VW Beetle convertible.

    Dawn's shifter.jpg

At least she could have this shift know that she purchased on eBay that has been modified to fit her GEN 3 Prius. She likes is much better than the OEM shift knob, and it is much less expensive that the Tom's.

She'll be a lot safer as well. My little league coach was badly burned in his VW, when the gas tank under the driver's seat caught fire in an accident.

Are those P7 all-seasons? If not, what model and how's the road performance? I'm planning to order Pirelli tires from 4wheelonline because of the price.

The prius really stands out with the signal mirrors.
I love mine but made the turn signal into just a parking lights.

That way they are always on with the rest of the lights.
The flood lights are a very nice touch when walking up to it.

Installed my old Nexus 7 tablet to be a Torque dashboard. I used the Proclip USA mount and pulled power from the center console power outlet. IMG_20211102_151435555_HDR.jpeg
