    Pretty much end of series if Dodgers had not 'shown up' for this game. They will reconvene in LA where tickets are REALLY expensive to decide who eventually gets to play the Rays. Or the Astros who seem to be getting more attention. In other words, maybe the American League title is still in play. It surely is on the NL side.

    @bisco, AL post season has been great. Boston is showing very well against Tampa Bay including extra-innings battle in progress.

    Thus Boston leads this series and could win it. But then they would face Houston, currently enjoying warm up against those other Sox. AL will indeed provide continued interest, but its survivor gets one of the California teams.

    One can get +900 odds in Las Vegas for Boston, if so inclined.

    pretty amazing what houston has done considering they lost their manager and a bunch of great players, but i wouldn't mind seeing chicago win

    Dodgers lost to Giants 0-1, suddenly looking weak in this series. Win both next two games, or watch 2021 outcomes on TV. As @bisco implies, Red Sox defocused the Rays and advanced. Astros and White Sox delayed by rain.

    Boston World Series odds in Las Vegas are down to about +380. Y'all missed your money buy yesterday

    i have never seen the red sox play small ball like they did in the bottom of the ninth, it was very impressive.

    it seems like a complete mismatch, but stranger things have happened. i was reading an interview with mrs. e rod, about how it is important to keep mr. e rod motivated, and i think so many athletes are like that.
