What 2017 Prius Prime Level? How do you positively determine the level of your 2017 Prius Prime? It can get tricky. I got my hands on two different Toyota brochures for this 2017 vehicle. One says there are two levels - “Prius Prime” and “Prius Prime Technical”. The other brochure shows “Plus”, “Premium”, and “Advanced”. The 2021 brochure defines levels as “LE”, etc. Asking because I recently bought a 2017 that is supposed to be a “Plus”. However, it has the magnetic phone charger, leather like seating, 11.6” screen, JBL 16 speakers, and more. How can I get the VIN assessed to determine?
Sorry, we missed your comment. Hope you are still around. The very fist comment ignored is not a very good experience. Anyway, for your question. If your PP is a US model, then there are only three "levels" as you say, but are trims. In the 2017 model, they were Plus, Premium, and Advanced. If your PP has Softex with 11.7inch LCD and JBL, it has to be Advanced trim. It is easy to check the trim from your VIN number by plugging it in at the Toyota Owner site. Vehicle Specification | Toyota Owners If you have Advanced trim, then you have a few additional easily identifiable features. Advanced is the only trim that has JBL stereo system, HUD, Parking sonar, fog lights, heated steering wheel, blind-spot monitor, auto-dimming rearview mirror with Homelink to name a few features unique to the Advanced model. If you paid for the Plus model and got the Advanced model, then you are very lucky. That's $5K more than the Plus model.

In the US like Marine Ray mentioned above, 2017 basically was - Plus - Premium - Advanced - Sorry we're all a month late to your thread. VIN lookup is a shot in the dark these days with probably 100 VIN lookup sites around. Your car is definitively not a Plus! I'd guess it's an Advanced from your description. If you open an account at Welcome to Toyota Owners it should show most of the records for your car. My service records are what the service dept wrote up. Not what they actually did. Best of luck with your 2017 - Advanced?
SUPER HELPFUL! THANK YOU. The bummer is I need 5 seats and limited. So for a used 2020 price I can get a NEW Bolt EUV Redline and have Chevy install a Level 2 Charger at my house...... But the BOLT is smaller...but not too much.
