Is it normal for CarPlay to only load only when starting a vehicle with the USB plugged in before starting? Whenever I detach it while traveling and want to reattach it while the engine is running CarPlay doesn’t load (example taking pictures outside of the car). Is this normal? The phone I use is an iPhone 11.
Carplay should load every time you plug it into the USB. As long as the car is ON / running, you're good to go. If you'd rather just jump into the car and let it load wirelessly, get this: I really like it and it works as advertised.
