It was a dark, stormy day. Passing the east entrance to UCONN medical a gentleman ran a flashing red. I hit him in the driver's side driving through a flashing yellow;... We ended up as seen in the picture. Nose to nose. After hitting his SUV, we hit 2ce and stopped across the road. So "Blue two" (my second Prii. the 2010 is no more.

Hail "New Blue, The third!" (2014) My third Prii. Just a tad darker blue than the '10

The 2014, at least mine is far and away better than my 2010! Rides better But lots of road/tire noise. I mean a lot. But way better MPGs. Radio is far better than my '05 or 2010. Dumb but as an uber driver, a wee bit important. The tires are Cooper and look low-end. But will look up. Maybe not. Why poke the do not know bear?

Just drives tighter. Also, it's my first one that has all the plastic shielding below. But 2 of the wheel wells are missing it. A few dents, no floor mats or cubby mats like the space under the shifter.

After taxes, DMV (used old plates) and everything, paid $8,890. That's out the door with everything. Encluding seat stains and a free seat cover set.

Wanted to get a plug in this go-round. But got stressed into a "just git-it!", hurry-up situation.

Bottom line. Loven the 2014. Was not loven' the 10 like I did the 05. Just didn't feel the same and the EGR really PMO, big time. My bad for not researching it beforehand.

Winter's coming. Get your wipers and tires ready!

Man! That white car definitely took very little of the brunt of that hit. Hope everything is okay long-term.

Ouch! So do we give you a new knickname, "T-Bone?" I have to admit it but I'm more nervous now in my 21 Prius then with any new vehicle I've owned because I know it's not the most rugged thing in a crash and seems extra-easy to total.
Yep, winter is coming....time to check those tires, coolant, and wipers. And put the tow strap into my Tundra...seems like I'm pulling little cars out every winter regularly. (Last two have been Honda's...they are very low to the ground.)

Man, Hill. Hit him dead on between the front and rear door on the driver's side. Lexus SUV. They totaled it but looked like you could drive it and be OTAY Buckwheat.

I was truly impressed with how it protected the occupants. It had an airbag for the airbags! It looked like the scene from the movie where they unfreeze a cop to fight crime in the future? Know the one I mean?

FOUND IT! Secure Foam! From the movie, Demolition Man"

Boo! I honestly feel really safe in the Prius. I wouldn't want to play chicken with a semi (Sober) But honestly, feel OK. The front folded like a cheap suit like it was supposed to. The inside was pretty much unbothered! I have dashcam vid of it if I can figure out how to upload it. The way it happened I actually hit him twice. Him being sideways, I hit and then caught up to where I had sent him and hit him again as he slid. .

And I got one small abrasion on leg. (from when I was trying to turn into a small ball and screaming like a 12-year-old actress in a Friday the 13th movie. (Actually, in the video, it looks like I am trying to see better and yell at the guy as we are hitting. Kinda funny. Gallows humor sorta deal)

    LoL @ "T-Bone" Boo

Honestly though. I would trust your '21 with my family. Truly and no bout a doubt it.
(And I was never convicted of any of that trying to mail my family to Guam.)

This 0dark 30 was first-day uberin' (I'm retired from Merchant Marine) and driving new Prius long ways. Really love it. Seems to be averaging (so far) 42 MPGs. Was heavy fog and some rain elsewhere. Ended up on great winding hilly country roads. Great fun to drive! Was still a lil gun shy but was soon relaxed and enjoying the ride!

Still can't get over how much more I like this Prius over the '10! Exact same model just 4 yers younger with different tires/wheels! (?)

Milage went up to a steady 45.5 and up to .7.

Passenger side head lite is dim. do not know why. Has new bulb. It's just dimmer. Head lites always suck on Priis. Thinking get some sort of auxiliary headlights
