I have a 2007 Prius with the C1377 capacitor error. I’ve switched the fuses for the ABS 1,2,3 and switched out the power brake control module - twice. I have no idea where to look past these things.

Open the tab for the ABS system in techstream and look at the codes. Next to the code should be a snowflake icon (freeze frame data)- click on that and it should have the INF or subcodes.

Thanks for that link. I haven’t had a chance to dove into it for a few weeks - but will take another look. I’ll post again if I find the problem. Many thanks SFO.

Not sure how many miles are on the vehicle, or how strong the HV battery is, but best not to let it sit unused for any real length of time.

The brake capacitor module is in the back of the car next to the 12 volt battery, if you haven't checked things out back there yet.

Well I took a hiatus to repair a house - but I’m back at it again. This is the freeze frame data. Looks like value 109. Apologies for the photos of a laptop screen… I know they are a PITA to read. Where should I begin fixing that issue?

SFO, your guide was spot on. Replaced ABS MAIN 3 fuse. Clearly a genius over here. Not sure how that slipped past me. But the problem is FIXED.
