When I turn on the headlights, the main screen dims. I do not remember what I did. Now it does not dim anymore.....................any ideas? thanks
There should be a scroll wheel to adjust dash light brightness at night. To leave it at full brightness with the headlights on, turn the wheel all the way up until it stops, then push a bit harder until it clicks. That should snap the dash to full brightness. At least, that is how it works on older generations, I can't verify on Gen4.
It's the same on the Gen 4. But if you turn the brightness control till it clicks, the instruments and display will not dim with the headlights on at night. The wheel is left of the steering wheel and low, kind of where it is on most of the cars I've owned over the years.
