My 2019 c often only shows 2 of 7 bars at start up, after sitting a day or 2. This is not weather dependent and I live downhill so I figure getting home would give it regen and put it higher. What is normal startup charge level....dealer answer added little insite
i think the answer from Tideland "should be where you left it" is the correct answer. It is not a plug in, so battery assists ICE..... we drive differently everytime, and the system reacts, to keep battery in a range. if stop and go, then battery could be low as it is adding more assist before parking.I will watch it to ensure it is not changing overnite, which would be a concern.
Maybe not for a C. IIRC, all 4 of mine have always shown "low" when first started and then sometimes "jump" up a few bars after just a short time. I have assumed that there is a default shown on the display until the computer can actually determine what the effective charge really IS.
