Error codes P3030 and P3000 after not driving the car for a while. How screwed am I?

    The car was not driven for quite some time so it's possible the hybrid battery went flat and/or some corrosion happened because of that.

    I've successfully torn down the battery and replaced a cell once before, then drove it for years, but it was a massive job and I dread doing it again.

    How screwed am I here? What are my options? Is there any way to manually charge the hybrid battery from nearly empty + would that even help? Any insight into what those problem codes mean? nWaHQMwG4bwo0FtYsSWHp9BuDorgxnHXLhdcmJy6ut4.jpg

    Sounds like one of the voltage sensing wires that attach to each block has cracked, causing an open in that individual monitor circuit. It should still allow the car to function normally.

    You would want to look at data from the battery ecu to figure out what's going on. As stated it is most likely a fault with the small "voltage sense" wires that connect the HV battery "blocks" (pairs of modules) to the ecu, or it could be corrosion damage to the connector or ecu connectors pins for the sense wires.
