Hi all. NZ prime here, I believe our Primes are based on the UK Excel ( It has the Toyota Motor Europe plate stamped into the front passenger door frame ) For some reason, there is no beep when locking and unlocking the doors with the remote. I used the carista APP to see if there was an option to have this changed, but there is none. Anyone from the UK here that can advise if there is any kind of law or regulation that says no door locking beeps are allowed? Thanks
Hello, my gen4 is EU spec (Portugal). The one beep I managed to get out of Carista, was when opening - and closing! - windows remotely. When it does that, it emits a one-time small beep.
On my Prime LE here in the US I can go into settings in the radio and adjust the beep and how loud/soft it is - can you do that? it's under car settings.
