No, I did ask if it was fused and told "no" it's not fused. So...without changing or checking for said fuse, I changed the inverter assembly and magically my ac compressor worked again. Is that fuse located inside the inverter?
Yes. And it is a high-voltage fuse, requiring the usual service-plug removal and five-minute capacitor-discharge wait of anyone who wants to fuss with it.
Found a video and info on said fuse. Went and checked my old inverter....fuse is blown. Anyone need a used Gen3 inverter/converter assembly with recently replaced AC fuse? Needless to say I will inform shop tech of what I found and I am thankful for your info
