That is a definite accomplishment I’m happy with 65 miles on my Volt and the battery is twice the size Was this a “round” trip
Just to be clear. The GOM showing 45.3 miles is not the same thing as actually driving 45.3miles all on EV mode without switching back and force between EV and HV modes. I can make the GOM show 50 miles (which is the top limit of the display) but would be almost impossible to drive 50 miles continuous EV mode on a round trip (that is without the help of gravitational pull on a long downhill).
yep, about 1/2 gallon left in the tank but with 45 ev range i'm not to worried ...will put a 1/2 tank in next week and that 1/2 tank will probably last till next year ....my last 1/2 tank i put in last August !!
yes , about 120 miles round , turned ev off on way to location and ran hybrid mode and then ran ev on the return ....it's a slight higher elevation trip , went from 4500 elevation to 6100 going , so on return it obviously reverses and it was a normal road with hills , twists and turns , etc. and even a few stop lights thrown in... ....when i left on the trip my ev read 44.7 , after returning and charging it read 45.3...
