Are the prime's front fog lights adjustable? They aim pretty low to be of any use, even in fog. They seem to be purely cosmetic.
AFAIK, there is no way to adjust the fog lights. Yeah, it is mostly cosmetic, but aren't all fog lights mostly cosmetic? I have not found fog lights on our Pathfinder to be useful in fog or any other situation.
As I understand it, fog lights are purposely designed to project light a short distance forward but with a very wide beam. The idea is to illuminate to the left and right of the car, enabling the driver to better see the edge of the roadway and the center line, thus providing the input needed to keep the car centered within the lane.
Gen 3's fog lights are up-and-down adjustable; the adjusting screw is accessed from behind. I'd be surprised if Prime's are not.
Oooh I like the yellow how did you make that happen is it a sticker? Any links so I can get one are much appreciated!
Yeah, it adds a nice splash of color. It's Lamin-x film, available direct from them or via Amazon (amazon was actually less expensive, go figure). Clean the lens, make a template to fit it, cut and plonk it on.
The black frame just pulls off. Apply the film and pop the frame back on. I didn't even trim the excess.
