Hi Everyone, I am looking for a prius 2015 after a total loss with prius 2010 that was still running strong after 390K. Unfortunately, it got involved to an accident. Now I would like to have your advices about 2015 models. Thank you.
congrats on the 390k, that is a wonderful achievement with the 2010 model. sorry to hear about the accident, i hope everyone is okay. 2015 should be a great year, no issues reported that i have seen, and if you can affor 2016, it might be even better. all the best with your search!

Sorry for asking questions about your old Prius....how long did hybrid battery last? Did you clean the EGR- if so, how often?
It was still original hybrid battery. I did clean EGR valve and cooler , intake manifold every 80K. It burn 0.8 quart oil every 5000 miles.
Thank for replying, I just found a Prius 2015 PiP which is lesser $500 than a Prius 2015 two. I know how to clean a EGR and cooler and intake manifold for Prius 2010-2015 gen3, is it the same with Prius PiP ? Is prius PiP still need a oil catch can ? Thank you.
All the components under the hood are the same. So the skills required aren't different. I'd put an oil catch can on (I put one on our 2019 Prime Plus and it has caught spooge).
