Best Dash Cam Mirror Mount H/W

    My new Prius Prime windshield is IR tinted so I don't want to use a suction cup. Has anyone had any luck with any of a myriad of clamp-on mirror mount H/W for a dash cam? I haven't even picked a camera yet. My old one is 1080P and the product lifecycle of dash cams seems like 3 months before something newer and better gets released. No problems there, I will make a choice and get it.

    I'm struggling over a decent mirror mount. I've had a couple which were less than opimal, although they worked.

    I just ordered a DC and decided to use 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener

    It reads like velcro on steroids but it will be my first time using the product. I don't plan to remove my cameras frequently but I wanted the option, which using the double stick tape wouldn't provide. I also wanted something more robust than a suction cup.
