I have just bought a 2011 Prius and there was no filter in the duct that leads to the HV fan. I went by the dealership and they will have one for me tomorrow. I will list the full part number there. If you havent a filter I would suggest to find the videos and clean as much as you can for the cooling system for the HV battery. There is a good video from NutsaboutBolts on youtube for this.

So the part number is G92DH-47060, Description FILTER, HV BATTERY price $20.14 USD
I will be using a foam air conditioner filter over the insert and just not anchoring the plastic trim piece with the 12mm bolt thats covered by the seat. I would just suggest you check the foam filter often.
just a suggestion and thoughts are of what little i know. If it doesn't make sense, then its probably wrong.

One comment on the video: he pulls up the rear seat, just to access one bolt. This is really not necessary, and I believe it’s clips are fragile, may break. You can access that bolt without seat removal: push apart seat and back portions at the junction (just below fan intake grill) and reach through with a 12 mm (IIRC) socket on a long extension. Be careful not to drop the bolt.

Another comment on the video mentions using pantyhose. I may go that route this weekend when I do mine. My 3 dogs leave ALOT of hair and I think the pantyhose idea may work pretty well for dog hair.

You can get that filter direct from Toyota for less than ebay.
You can get the foam from lowes. Just a few bucks, and you cut it to fit.
