For the most part I can get home, but the roads are not graded and ice and snow can be fierce in the mountains. 2017 Prius V Five
This changes everything. Get a RAV-4 or something else that fits all aspects of your transportation needs.
Prius get good mpg. That's about it..... drivers seat is NOT comfortable. rear speaker setup poor.........brake system going out and head gasket my biggest bummer...but the traction battery wasn't fun or cheap. and the inverter failure 1100 miles from home was a drag.
I have a 2012 Prius Four with Solar Roof. It has 40k miles. The car says I average about 46-48 mpg on regular gas; 50 on ethanol-free gas. However, according to my calculations (@ 11.9-gallon capacity, I am only getting about 36 mpg). It is my daily driver - I drive about 30 miles per day. Am I insane, or should I sell this car? It is now 9 years old (the previous owner let it sit but did regular maintenance). I have a lot of equity right now. Should I sell it and buy a cheap beater to drive back and forth to work? Help me think clearly here...
Thule, Yakima has ones too. Though I have uses Thule for over 20 years and have a soft spot for them. 2017 Prius V Five
