In very hot weather (over 100 degrees), when I decelerate my engine is slow to decelerate. It races like my accelerateor is stuck, but slowly comes to idle after a few seconds. Is this normal or do I need to lubricate the linkage?
It's very unlikely that you need to lubricate a linkage. The throttle is controlled by an electric motor right there on the throttle body, and there's a sensor there telling the car's computer exactly how open the throttle is, and the computer uses the motor to put it exactly where it wants. From your post, I'm not sure exactly why the car's computer is choosing the behavior you're seeing, but it's almost certainly exactly what it's programmed to do.
I've seen this when there's a hybrid battery code. Probably because the ECU is idling the engine. Is your hybrid battery fan clogged? moto g power ?
i have had the same problem,at the dealership they said that the engine is charging the EV battery and it's normal, after the dealership visit it stopped, them my EV battery had to be reolaced.....
