I'm reading the multimedia owner's manual trying to figure out how I can have USB audio and navigation at the same time, but the manual suggests Toyota has intentionally disabled this capability even with a USB hub. It seems like maybe this is only true in some markets. I can't tell for sure. Before I purchase a USB hub can anyone with one verify that Android Auto and/or Apple Car Play disables the ability to choose USB as an audio source?
Also, when I insert a thumb drive into the USB port the head unit shows two USB ports and identifies the thumb drive as USB 2. Where is the other USB?
