for me honestly removing the facia clips was the easiest part. I was sort of expecting it to be way too hard I guess based on the complaints. The trick that worked for me was to press the clip from one side, pull it on one side and then press the other side of the clip and work your way up.

Installed by myself without raising or lifting the car. It can be done by one person. Some pics. Turned out great.

In the instruction manual on draw-tite's website[1] , they show different instructions for fascia removal for 2019+ models than what is shown in the etrailer video for the 2017 prius prime [2] . Would you or @Froglegs please clarify whether you followed the instructions from the video or the instructions from the manual for your 2020 prime? I've attached a screenshot of relevant section of the instruction manual.

I installed a Draw-Tite hitch on a 2020 Limited today. I used the instructions for 2016-2018 cars in the manual (same as the etrailer youtube video linked above). Unlike @IMRAN ALI and @Froglegs , i did not hammer the tabs on the bumper beam. I bent them 15 degrees like it says to in the manual, and the modified tabs slotted into the chassis properly. I wouldn't recommend anyone do this on their own without help, but if you have to do it alone, what worked for me is to thread two bolts from the other side of the chassis to hold/'hang' the hitch in place while you try to hook the beam tabs into the slots on the chassis. Also, @IMRAN ALI 's tip in post 221 works well for detaching the wire harness from the fascia tabs.

I see two different racks with different clearances on 1upUSA's website, the Quik Rack or the Equip-D. Which one do you have? Are you still using the 1up rack with your Draw-Tite hitch, or did you find something better? If you have the Quik Rack, would you trade it in for the Equip-D for the extra 1 inch of clearance, or does it not matter because "barely clears" is good enough?

Yes, still using it. I don't need any more clearance. It's fine. Can't open the hatch with a bike on it though, unless I tilt the rack down. My rack is an older model (bought it in 2013). My rack can hold two bikes, but normally I just use one tray because the second tray obscures my license plate and I'm normally only hauling one bike. I leave it on all the time too.

With an extender, you can. I've been using one on mine for years.

WARNING FOR PRIUS PRIME, Many bike racks will not work on hitch.
Just installed the Curt hitch because the video and photos shown the hitch is flush with the lower bumper, while the videos have the Draw-Tite hitch set back 3-4". Well, that is not the case. BOTH of these hitches are set back 3-4" on the Prime and flush on the Prius. If you look closely at the eTrailer videos, the Draw-Tite is on a Prius PRIME and the Curt is on a Prius. Apparently there is a difference in the bumper assembly between the two models. Now, my bike rack will not work, and using an extender provides 2 points to wobble even more than it did already.

Between the 2 hitches for using a bike rack, the best model is the Draw-Tite for the design handles twisting force better, evidenced by the lack of recommendation for additional strapping that the Curt requires.
    Installation is basically identical.
And be aware of the set back when selecting a bike rack, making sure you can return it if it does not fit.

Adding a stabilizer works well. No more wobble from mine.

That is really just a CYA note. Think about how much racks vary and how effective a disclaimer like that avoids liability.

I'm looking to get the curt hitch possibly, does anyone know if it will fit with the Kuat Transfer V2 1-Bike Rack without an extender?
