That you are oblivious to the offense created speaks volumes. I have an elderly neighbor who uses the "N" word but says, "No offense intended, I grew up with the word." Doesn't change things.
Stuff it. Your unwarranted attacks speaks volumes too. How about contributing something helpful for a change.
sooo getting back on track. I decided to give Danny another try. I placed an order again. I really want those mudflats! Will post updates as this process goes on
The last communication Danny said was that the item was going to ship on the day I disputed the charge. I will give it 2 weeks this time and if no luck, we will roll the process again.
To the original question, I ordered an antenna for my Gen 2 painted to match on the day I dropped the car off at Maaco. It arrived before I got the car back from the paint shop and the color matches. I am satisfied with the process from start to end.
As I tell some of my vendors, you may be working on my stuff, but unless you communicate with me it is the same as ignoring me, from my perspective. When i have a vendor with a lengthy process I ask for an update at least every 2 weeks so I know at least they were thinking about my issue.
Quick update- I re-ordered the mudflaps on 6/8 and I got notification today that it was shipped. Will update again when I receive the item.
Another update. On 6/20 I got notification that a shipping label was created with tracking number. Since then there have been no updates. USPS said they are waiting for item. In the Prius chat shop it said it’s been ‘shipped’. What do you guys think? Wait another week or call CC to dispute it again? Thanks
i'd give it a week, but check with your cc co to make sure you'll be covered i've been waiting on usps from oregon for 9 days. it has been in springfield, ma for the last two of those, according to the tracker
Considering shipping delays of this era, with a few stragglers taking extra long or suddenly appearing on my doorstep after numerous days of no tracking updates, it seems much too early to put in a cc dispute. But do mark the cc dispute deadlines on your calendar, so you don't accidentally miss them.
I placed an order for a bumper protector and it actually was confirmed and shipped quite quickly. Pretty much automated. Only problem was I ordered the wrong bumper protector - oops. My bad. I realized it immediately upon seeing the confirmation page, but once you press the "place order" button, the gears start to turn. I frantically sent several messages both by the "contact us" link and via e-mail trying to head it off at the pass to no avail. It showed up a a few days later. I did exchange a few e-mails with Danny and got the right one ordered and received. Just waiting to return the old one and get credit for it. My analysis? The system works and it's about as quick as other online parts places - BUT - if you need human interaction you may have issues. I would order again - but I'd be very careful I had picked the right items BEFORE I pressed the "Place Order" button!
Time is money, a week is long enough. It’s not coming from China either, nor natural diesaster that have affected shipping. You gave the seller a second chance in good faith, I’d file this to the bbb, dispute cc company and get it done this weekend. I wouldnt want to deal with this over the 4th of July weekend.
