I just got an oil change (not from Toyota) and the mechanic didn't get the dashboard view back the way I like it. I see the speed and my score on gas efficiency but I like seeing my current MPG. I flipped through all the screens and couldn't find the one that allowed the current MPG to be seen. Can anyone walk me through it? Thank you.
I figured out the problem. The current MPG shows up on the trip odometer portion of the screen. Somehow it got turned off. Once I put it back to "Trip A" the current MPG was there.
To clarify: That's the average for the mile meter selected (ODO, A,B, etc) not current mpg. Current mpg shows up on the sub-screen when you have split view enabled for the main display. Split view lets you choose from an HSI indicator, current fuel consumption, and traction battery status. It's on pages 111-112 of the 2017 manual. Sadly, it won't display a numerical current mpg, just the bouncing bar indicator.
