*preface: I am not much of a car person so forgive me if this is a silly question, I just need the car to get me from point A to B for a few more months.:)
I need a new battery for my gen 1, I need a replacement asap so autozone is basically my only option. I know the car is right side positive but the battery recommended by autozone says it is a left side positive ( Odyssey PC925LMJT). Can I just flip it 180 degrees and connect it or should I get the right side positive one that looks to have all the same specs as the other (Odyssey PC925L).
    Any help is appreciated

The cables won't be long enough, and Autozone should not be listing that battery for this car, IMHO. Perhaps check your area for a mobile mechanic who will find an appropriate replacement and bring it to you?

The 12v battery is a deep cycle and it has smaller diameter posts than normal car batteries, and has a vent tube to the outside.
A miata battery can work it has the outside venting and is small, but you will need to change the cables, which is not a big problem but if not done before will take some time to figure out how to do it. They make a smaller Optima yellow top battery that drops in, its deep cycle, but its not cheap.
