I've seen this question was asked years ago but I haven't seen anything recently covering this question.

As a food delivery person, "Walk Away Lock" would be really beneficial as every delivery I need to lock the car doors.

I know some manufacturers have this in their cars and I was hoping Toyota might too. Or even a third party way (Viper?) to accomplish it.

Can't say if the Prius has it, but check the Owners manual in the customization section. That lists all the settings you can change in the car, like when and if door locks engage when driving off, or which doors unlock when parked. If walk away locks are an option that can be turned on, it will be there.

all you have to do is touch the door handle with a finger

It's not the same as Walk Away Lock, which is hands free and would work from any door.

When I have my hands full of product / food, keeping the car locked when I'm not able to keep an eye on it is important. Putting the food on the ground leads to customers complain.

I generally use the rear driver's side door and slam it with my knee (or the front passenger seat). Depends on if I have a rider to ride along. I haven't yet needed to use the hatch.

Yeah I reached out to Viper's customer service and they told me to talk to the installers and see if they could do a work around. I was hoping someone on here might've had gotten it done :)
