Hello everybody , have small issue with 2014 prius, its base model, no navi, no jbl system. PROBLEM-Only front door speakers doesn't work. Whole Dash panel was changed , and tweeters are jbl. Tweeters works, rear door speakers works, but no sound in front door speakers.I checked radio unit evrything is connected good. ANY IDEA WILL HELP, THANK YOU.
To cut the story short, open the door trim, connect any speaker externally and check if it works. In my Prius gen2 my 4 speakers were shot and had to replace the whole lot, all working perfectly now
Take a look under your passenger seat if there is an amplifier installed. If so, check if this tension gets when you turn on the radio. I also do not have a JBL system but this amplifier only for the front door speakers. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
