I'm not sure if I'm going down the wrong rabbit hole or not. Has anyone followed the test procedure for the
HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY - GENERATOR RESOLVER) Where you are supposed to ohm out between A59-10 and ground? I've checked the resistance with 2 different meters, my fieldpiece measures 1.7k, my Fluke measures 80 ohms. I've verified meters using fixed resistors and both test the same. the only difference I can find is that the Fluke uses a 6 volts dc while the Fieldpiece is a low impedance meter and is only using 0.3 vdc. The instructions only say to pull the service grip plug, leave power switch off and unplug A59 from the inverter only, and says that a good test is 12+k, anything less replace the harness. I have determined that if I unplug all the ECUs that are connected and with none connected the test shows infinite to ground. I've recorded the different resistance reading as I plug each ECU connector back in. Has anyone done this test and what have you found? I'm hoping I don't have 3 bad ECU's (power management, Transmission, HV battery)

Could you give us some more context, please?

The Repair Manual (more info) for model year 2012 Prius v cars (RM18M0U) has four different procedures that call for resistance measurements at connector A59-10, for diagnostic trouble codes P0A78-113, P3233-750, P324E-788, and U0110-159/-656/-657. Which procedure are you using, and what is the step number?

    23. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY - PCU
    FUSE)
WARNING: Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
    a. Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
NOTE: After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on
(READY), unless instructed by the repair information because this may
    cause a malfunction.
    b. Disconnect connector A59 from the inverter with converter assembly.
    c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    What are the symptoms?
Maybe the Inverter is out and that is covered under extended warranty.

Presumably the OP (who hasn't been back in a while) had some code implicating the MG1 resolver. That wouldn't be an issue covered by the IPM warranty extension.

It would probably be something pretty simple though. I hope the OP eventually looked at a wiring diagram and got it sorted.
