Mounting real fog lights

Has anyone considered installing a traditional pedestal mount fog lamp in the upper of the lower grill area? Obviously, this would be a custom project as I choose not to use the "factory" solution of buying the OEM after-market different grill kits. I'm a veteran of 70s rallye events and the days of Cibie, Marchal, Corello, and Lucas bumper/rack-mounted lamps. Obviously, my fog light pattern custom lamps would be smaller than my Cibia Super Oscars of days of old. My question - With all the plastic on the front end of my 2012 Prius are there any hard mountable surfaces that would lend themselves to a sanitary mount of real E1 code fog lamps.
