"Americans are burning nearly 1 billion more gallons of gasoline each year than they did in 1960 because of their expanding waistlines. Simply put, more weight in the car means lower gas mileage."

There seems to be a correlation between how much we eat and how much gasoline we burn. Perhaps the first question we should ask people who claim not to get very good mileage with a Prius is how chubby they are

I can already see the rebuttals here: "I drive a Prius and get 60 mpg and I'm a hundred pounds overweight"

I'll fess up. I am almost 200 pounds overweight, and I get 50mpg. Yes I have been wanting to lose weight just to improve my mpg.

    From Time magazine

"American cars on average have increased by 500lbs since the 70s. Of course it has if the average American is driving it"

Do you get pulled over for underage driving? But I guess, if you look 2, then they probably can't see who's driving.

For any confusion I have made by the previous comment, I meant to say that I have been skinny since I was 2.

Wow, you must have been a really big 1-year old. What did you do to lose all the weight?

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Delta Flyer @ Oct 25 2006, 04:19 PM) </div>

Actually, if you have the nav system in the car, you can say "Supersize Me" to it, and it will pop up all of the fast food POIs on the screen. Try it. It is one of those Prius easter eggs.

My parents didn't feed me enough after I was one year old. They figured, a skinny child is cheaper to feed than a fat child.

Ah yes, it is the language of love, my dear. But a chauvinist? Mai non. We men will always admire the female form and consider it one of the great works of art. Any place where a woman graces it with her presence is an art gallery. B)
