Hi! Someone hit my car and smashed the side mirror- the casing is still intact but I’m wondering how difficult it is to reconnect the wiring for a mirror replacement and/or how to do it. I have the blind spot monitor. I haven’t been able to find much online beyond just the basic replacement. My apologies if this has already been covered on a different thread! Thanks in advance!!!!
Did it rip out the wiring? This is the sort of thing that I'd let the dealer handle. I'm tired of scrimping and although I'm retired, I don't want to mess with these sorts of things anymore.
Many, many years ago, when I was 16, I was backing out of the garage and didn’t notice the passenger side mirror wouldn’t clear the side of the garage. Ripped it right off. Dad was not happy.
