I've noticed every time I start driving it sounds like the chassis or the undercarriage is making sounds or moving. When I start driving it's almost like it moves a little or flexes. It's a very strange sound. I don't know how this is possible maybe it's not even the chassis that's doing it but Toyota says it's a normal sound. Has anyone else heard any sounds when you start driving. Normally the car has to have been sitting for awhile or normally when I first start driving it.
Our '16 Three Touring clicks and clacks when turning the steering wheel and touching the brakes during the first movement of the day. I consider it all normal.
By “Toyota” I presume you mean a dealership? They test drove? Try another dealership if possible? This might be problematic, for dealership diagnosis.
Hard to tell without knowing what the sound actually is or where it comes from. Could be the brakes. Could be the suspension settled down while parked. If normal, the technician should have been able to name what it was. Of course, that info may have been left off by who you talked to behind the desk. Reading the manual won't hurt. The one for the gen2 did explain what the unfamiliar sounds the driver might be hearing were.
