    I realize this whole thread has lasted a while as I have ran into a couple issues during work. After getting timing cover off I happen to break a head bolt in the block which I miraculously was able to recover and then a camshaft cap broke. Now as I'm putting everything back together and replacing all o rings and gaskets that came in the mahle kit. There are 3 thin metal rings that I dont recall seeing at all while disassembling.
