My friends Prius is getting totaled out and I wanted to harvest the auto dimming homelink mirror since I will have access to the whole car. What subharness do I have to pull to add to my car? iPhone ?
The harness that's located above the headliner as far as I know. The last time I checked, the non-homelink harness does not have the power wires required.
Right that’s what I understand as well so I’m wondering how far into the wiring harness until there is commonality iPhone ?
It was a while ago that I pulled that harness, but I do remember it was all harness with no no easy to use connectors near that junction. It's not like you go back 12 inches and there's a quick connect that you can just pop loose. I seem to remember it was a bit of a PITA.
