Responding to @alanclarkeau which started with @kevin.c cross generation posting . Nothing available for LiON that I’m aware of other than the wall plug for the Prime. But I have a feeling that it only permits certain ranges like the other technology .
Drive on out . I’m sure he’ll need a template. Plenty to do and see when you make it out this way (and might even get a break from cabin fever).
The battery may or may not still be under its own warranty. All other warranties are expired now for sure.
2016 bought new I have 130,000 miles not one repair only scheduled maint. It is March 20,2020 as I write this. My 3rd Prius probably buy a 4th at 300k miles
Well I've only had mine for 5 months, but I have 23K on it was expecting to put 50-60K a year on it... But then again, that all depends on what happens with Rideshare after Covid 19 ?
2016 Prius 2. Purchased February of 2017 with 18,000 miles. As of today I have 231,654 miles. Replaced the underhood battery at 95,117, I replaced the front brake pads at 210,000, and the windshield wipers at 200,000 miles. Here is the real kicker. I am on my 20th tire. I have a warranty for the tires that replaces them if they are damaged beyond repair, i.e. nails in the sidewall, cuts in the tread that can not be patched and so forth. The first two replacement tires I bought were not TOYO A29 tires, I do not remember the brand. I returned them back to NTB before I put 500 miles on them. Bought two A29's. Of the 20 tires I have only paid for 6. EDIT: I totally forgot to mention that I changed out the spark plugs at 120,000 miles.
Good god. Thanks to covid-19 I barely drive 500 miles in two months now. My 2017 Two Eco has 38.5k miles. For the first time I had to change my oil based on age and not miles driven.
Just bought a 2019 Prius LE w/ 190k miles (crazy), had some codes that I cleared, everything seems to be running and driving fine on it... What things should I get done on it or be checking, preventative maintenance, oil change, etc..?
You mechanically inclined? If so, I'd be interested in what the egr cooler looks like. Hope the 2019 was a good deal. What you've suggested above seems fine, but other services will be required soon.
I had 569k on my 2013 (Gen 3). Just bought my 2017 a few months ago so trying to get it broken in. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Bought brand new Dec 2019. It sat in the driveway for 6 weeks while I had Covid so about 15 months of driving & I am at 52,000 miles.
463k km... ..oh wait, that's the Civic. The Prime's currently at a hair over 2600k km... ..i only had it last week though... Marko!
