Today is my week-versary to registering my 2011 Prius. I am so HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY I bought it. Cant wait for my first road trip. sorry, to the point. How do I determine which gen my Prius is? My VIN # told my ins. company and my bank it is "2" whatever that is. I see in this forum gen ||| is 2010-2015. I also do not have some features. no back up cam, no rear slide cover (not sure what that is called). Glad I found this forum TIA
I think you mean "trim". 2 is the basic trim. If you google 2011 Toyota Prius trim levels you'll get several resources that lay out the features.
You have a gen3 with a 1.8L engine. Unique trim differences include: Trim two has a single disk cd player, the rest have a 4 or 6 disk unit. Trim two does not have bluetooth phone. Trim three is fabric seats with bluetooth. Trim four is leather with 15" wheels. Trim five has 17" wheels and LED headlights. There are many other features added by trim or option.
Perfect description rjparker. I do have a single CD player without Bluetooth. Although I do have cloth seats.
