Loud bang and Abs light, warning light on

    Last night i was driving down the highway at 65 mph, heard a loud bang that sounded like someone hit me, (nobody hit me) and then my Abs light, warning light and traction light came on.. Any idea what happened? I have a 2014 prius three..

    Where would you say you heard the bang from? Ahead of you? Behind you?

    The lights that came on suggest the skid ECU has some information for you about what happened. Why not ask it?

    If you don't have a scan tool that can read those codes, you can use the jumper wire and count-light-blinks method, and post the codes you get here.

    If you read blink codes, there's a chance they'll just tell you there are codes to be read from other ECUs in the car that don't participate in the light-blinking trick, so somebody with a scan tool would need to get those. But anyway, it starts with getting the ones you can get.
