I have a 2013 Prius I'm not sure what the trouble is. My key FOB controls will unlock the drivers door (actually everything) but getting close to the door, it does not work. I can open the passenger door and hatch by getting close to them (not pressing the unlock on the key fob) but not the driver's door. Also, I can lock the passenger door by touching the door sensor but I cannot lock the driver's door that way. Any suggestions about the cause? Thanks
Have you tried only one key fob or it’s doing the same for both ? And of course , have you tried to change the battery ?
I only have one key fob (bought the car used) and I recently replaced the battery. Actually replaced my 12 v last year before this started. It's only the driver's door. That's what makes it a mystery. Is there a sensor for each door? Does anyone know? I hate to go to a dealer. Trust issues.
