Retractable DIY charger

    Hi all,

    I would like to brag with my latest “invention”! I made a DIY project by transforming a EVSE charger cable into a retractable charging cable from a retractable extension cord. The main challenge was to transform the extension cord to 4 contacts form 3. After cutting the charger cable and connect it to the retractable cord I mounted a socket for the charger, 10Amps fuse and SONOFF relay with Wi-Fi for activating and consumption monitoring. Mount all into a IP box and there it is .

    Indeed, you can imagine that i had to cut the charger cable on purpose, it broken my heart, but still now it works perfectly ;)
