Looks good! Glad it's running good now.
That stuff is super expensive! Looks like it does a good job though.

The “executive” description says it’s alkaline, so I’d think somewhat similar action to Oxi-clean or oven cleaner.

For cleaning coils in-situ think you need something that foams and clings. With the EGR cooler maybe not that important; just cork one end and fill with a moderately caustic solution, let it percolate?

Looks terrific. Even if it doesn't have anything to do with what you did to your Prime. :D That really looks clean. Hope you put it on the Gen 3 forum, too, so they will see it there. (y)

Had this day planned in advance to do my EGR circuit clean-out because the weather was supposed to be nice and sunny.

But as usual in winter, mother nature had other plans in place and it started to snow all over my engine bay and tools o_O

Well, this looks dumb now and it's too late to edit it. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Nevertheless, thanks for moving what I was responding to to the right forum, @Tideland Prius. You do a great job. (y)(y)

Installed these Fiamm El Grande horns on my 2015 to replace the stock meep meep, which round these parts doesn't cut it. Now I can be heard! Wanted to get the Toyota Premium Horns but after some research, concluded they weren't worth 5 times the cost of the El Grandes, which are louder, plug 'n play and snazzy lookin.

What's being shown in that photo? I think I am looking at one conductor, one fuse, one ¿connector in a rubber sock?

Shouldn't I be seeing two conductors?

    @chapman

That is the harness connected to the traction battery, it has a rubber cover at the pigtail to then connect to the rest of the plugout system.

Used 12 ounces of BG109 Engine cleaner
and let it run for 16 minutes
Changed oil and filter 0W20 Mobil 1
    225171 miles

Normally changed at 10,000 miles, but did it at 5000 miles and will change it in another 5000 miles.
The drained oil was certainly a lot darker than when I changed it at 10,000 miles, so maybe
    it cleaned things out.
Keeping it at 65mph and less I used about 1 quart between changes.
And I have some AT-205 Re-Seal I put in at the next oil change.

I figured it was worth the small investment to see if it makes any difference.

I hope there are really two conductors there, and a two-pole connector, and it only looks like one conductor because of the angle of the photo?

Dressed up the coolant reservoir with a cover. It's not necessary but I'm determined to find all the OEM engine bay covers that exist that were excluded for the US market, that is without paying an arm and a leg for shipping from Japan.

Nothing like a good looking engine bay to welcome you when opening the hood. :)

Wait a second, your engine cover is black. Did you paint it??
