We're swapping a Gen 3 to Gen 4 engine in a 2011, and the damper plate, the functional equivalent of a clutch, has failed. It rattles terribly and we don't want to put it back in. Prices are all over the place. Is this the only one, or is there a functional equivalent? The original Toyota part number is 31270-47060. 31270-47070 is the updated part for the Gen 4.
@Ragingfit went through this in his video, believe he needed to transfer 3rd gen flywheel and damper over. He mentions the torque to yield and loctite. One of the last videos: Swapping in a Gen 4 Prius' 2ZR Engine into the Prius v | PriusChat
