    Anyone tried putting Chevron Techron fuel cleaner on their Prius?
    I bought it to put into the car, just want to make sure it’s ok for a 2007 Prius!

    You're on a Gen 1 ('01-03) forum. But no matter. Techron won't hurt anything. Might do nothing. Might help some things. It's one of the better regarded fuel system cleaner additives.

    Are you having a problem? OR just for good measure?

    Hello,
    Oops! Didn’t know I was on the wrong Gen forum. I got the car a few months ago and just want to give it to clean the fuel system.

    I dump a bottle in every six months or so as a preventative. Can't say if I notice any difference.

    Yes it is fine......for ALL gasoline engines, especially ones with fuel injection.

    But READ the directions. I think they have some large bottles that will treat up to 50 gallons of gas or so.
    It is not a good idea to dump that whole bottle into 10 gallons of gas.

    I buy the smaller ones that are for 12 (?) gallon tanks.
